A Wacky week of March

This week was one for the record books. We had a class on interpersonal relationships and were given some great opportunities to practice what we learned. The class was great but some of the best times this week was this weekend.
Us single gals had the awesome opportunity to go to this major metro. The town was about the size of Watertown, SD and it took a two hour drive to get there. But it was sooo worth it. We got to go to a Walmart, a mall, and Costco. What a breath of freedom to be back in to an area that has stoplights! (even though there were cattle watching you at these stoplights:)) The trip was fun and the most exciting part was trying to pack all the food, purchases, and five people into a jeep Cherokee.
Another exciting part of the weekend was getting to go to the Amish church. I didn't know what to expect when I went but I was so amazed at the service. The Amish community here are born again believers and are working to be reconciled with the community, and to be really involved. The service started by singing fun, old hymns accapella. To hear the building ring with all these voices singing in harmony was breath taking. The building its self was a beautiful log building with big windows that show snowy mountains. A wonderful place to sing and worship God. The community was amazing and very open. I really enjoyed worshiping with them. God has been so good, I cant wait to see what he will do next.
