Here is Ola eating a doughnut at the beach. It was so hot here that the water was wonderful. The lake is only a short walk from my flat.
The statue is of Capernicus, he is from the town of Torn, just an hour drive from Wloclawek.


This is Ola and her classmate Kasha, we all built a sand castle.
The view above was a neat example of how the city of Torn has mixed the old part of town with the new. It is an old enterance made into a road.
Here I am in the ruins of a castle built for knights who were training to go on the crusades. My first castle! Again we are in Torn, Poland.
