Goofing off and preparing turkey!

During this last weekend, We, I, mostly God, pointed out that the kids just need some time to have fun and build relationships. The next post shows you a little of what we did but here are some fun clips of the camaraderie...

As it always does, when you add new snow, youth age kids, and a wee bit of fun... A huge Snowball fight broke out! Here are Melvina and Ola trying to duck and throw.

Martynia, Olga, and Marta walking to the next clue in our scavenger hunt!

I suggested that each student should say hello to someone in the park they didn't know... Well like all great plans it backfired. I was dared to run up to some one and exclaim how I have missed them and what a surprise it is to see them.... Well these are the boys I ran up to. They were classmates of Olga. It was fun and it built a bridge between the youth and me. Hey... Anything for the Ministry! (don't tell my students, but it wasn't that hard cause they couldn't understand what I was saying... and they can always say , "shalona Americanka" (crazy American girl)

Here is Ania and her mother helping me make things for our Thanksgiving meal. I can now say I have made whip cream by hand, and some extra muscles from Ania's Mom!
