Our First Youth meeting was this week on Tuesday. Here are some of the students who came. Trust me, they were more excited about being there then having their picture taken :)

This Bwajay (spelled so you could pronounce it) with two of the girls who came. He is the only boy in the group, but I dont think he minds. These girls are elga and Kasha. I met them on the street and flubed my way through polish and managed to get their phone numbers. I had one of the other youth call them and invite them. They were excited to come. There are no youth programs except sports in this whole town, so its easy for kids to come. There is nothing else for them to do.

Martinia stayed late to teach me how to make Nielishniki. It is alot like a crepe, and tastes really good. Her mom had taught her how and she loved teaching me. She had never had American pancakes so I showed her how to make Buckwheat Pancakes. It was really fun to share our cultures.
